A baby blanket is the item you'll reach for most in the first year — for the pram, the car seat, the sofa, the grandparents' house. Our range includes ultra-soft fleece blankets and hooded wrapper blankets from Hopop, and 100% premium cotton hooded blankets from Inspiia. Cotton and muslin breathe better in Indian summers; fleece earns its place in a north-Indian winter. Wash before first use and check the blanket is fully dry before it goes near your baby.
Our baby bedding and gadda sets include traditional cotton gadda sets and portable baby nests such as the R for Rabbit Snuggy and Baby Nest Lite. Nests are useful as a supervised daytime rest spot — on the floor, beside you, while you're in the room. For night-time sleep, current paediatric guidance is a firm, flat surface with no soft padding.
Our baby pillow range includes traditional rai (mustard seed) pillows from SnugBaby and ergonomically shaped pillows from Hopop, plus nursing pillows from Abracadabra that support your arm and your baby's weight during feeds. A note worth reading: paediatricians advise against pillows in the cot for babies under 12 months. Nursing pillows are for feeding time, with you awake and holding your baby — not for sleep.

FAQs
Q: What baby bedding does a newborn need?
A: A newborn needs a firm flat mattress with a fitted sheet, a light breathable blanket or muslin wrap, and a waterproof mattress protector. Pillows and soft padding are not recommended in the cot for babies under 12 months.
Q: Are baby pillows safe for newborns?
A: Paediatric guidance advises against using pillows in the cot for babies under 12 months, as soft bedding increases suffocation risk. Baby pillows and nursing pillows are best used during supervised, awake time — such as feeding — rather than for sleep.
Q: Which blanket is best for a baby in Indian weather?
A: Cotton and muslin blankets suit Indian summers because they breathe and prevent overheating. Fleece and hooded wrapper blankets suit north Indian winters. Layering light blankets is safer than one heavy one.
Q: Does Toy Fort deliver baby bedding outside India?
A: Yes. Toy Fort ships worldwide via FedEx, DHL and Indian Post, typically in 5–15 working days. Cash on Delivery is available within India.
