Yonex is the name serious players trust. Our range spans the aluminium ZR and GR series for beginners and casual play, the lightweight Astrox Lite for developing players, and the Nanoflare 8000i and 9000i for those who want genuine head-light speed and control. If you're buying your first "proper" racket, the ZR 100 is the classic starting point; if you've outgrown it, the Astrox and Nanoflare lines are the next step up.
For casual play, school and first rackets, Cosco rackets (CB and CBX series) and Kirat junior and senior racket sets offer honest quality at ₹300–₹1,300. A racket set with two rackets and shuttles is the easiest way to get a family playing this weekend.
Shuttlecocks are the one thing every badminton player reorders — Yonex Mavis nylon shuttles (Mavis 350, Mavis 10) are the durable, all-court standard for practice and casual matches. Stock a tube or two so a burst shuttle never ends a game early.
For beginners, a slightly head-heavy aluminium racket (like a Yonex GR/ZR or Cosco) offers power and durability. As technique develops, lighter graphite rackets (Astrox, Nanoflare) give more speed and control. Match grip size to hand size, and start with a higher-tension pre-strung racket only once you play regularly.

FAQs
Q: Which Yonex racket is best for beginners?
A: For beginners, an aluminium Yonex racket like the ZR 100 or GR 303i offers durability and power at an affordable price. Lightweight graphite rackets such as the Astrox and Nanoflare series suit developing and advanced players.
Q: What is the difference between the Yonex Nanoflare and Astrox series?
A: Nanoflare rackets are head-light and built for fast, controlled play and quick net exchanges. Astrox rackets are more head-heavy, favouring power and steep attacking shots. Choose Nanoflare for speed, Astrox for power.
Q: What shuttlecock should I buy for practice?
A: For regular practice and casual play, nylon shuttlecocks like the Yonex Mavis 350 or Mavis 10 are durable and cost-effective. Feather shuttles are for competitive play but wear out faster.
Q: How do I choose a badminton racket for a child?
A: For children, choose a lightweight junior racket with a smaller grip and a shorter shaft — a junior racket set is ideal for starting out. Move to a standard adult racket once the child is around 11–12 and playing regularly.
Q: Does Toy Fort deliver badminton equipment worldwide?
A: Yes. Cash on Delivery and fast delivery are available across India, and Toy Fort ships worldwide via FedEx, DHL and Indian Post, typically in 5–15 working days.
